Lonely Cat Turns into Most Affectionate Cat When Someone Welcomes Him in, Making Him Feel at Home Again

A lonely cat turned into the most affectionate feline when someone welcomed him in, making him feel at home again.

Milo, the cat, had lived with a family since he was a kitten. He reportedly began having litter box issues, which led to his confinement in a bathroom, where he became covered in filth. A kind family member stepped in after discovering his situation.

“The family member brought him to one of our veterinary partners for a thorough checkup, and they recommended reaching out to Saving Stevie, the rescue I foster through,” Clare shared with Love Meow.

“It didn’t take long for Milo to realize he was safe.”

Milo (eight years old) was wary and withdrawn at the clinic, but soon after arriving in his foster home, he began to open up. As he slowly explored his new surroundings, his eyes softened, and his posture grew more confident.

With just a few chin scritches, he switched on his purr motor, nudging his human for more. “Soon enough, he recognized I was a friend.”

With each stroke of affection, Milo leaned closer to his foster mom, seeking even more love. He listened intently to her voice, and with each word, his purr rumbled louder.

“Milo is an absolute sweetheart – he makes endless biscuits, purrs louder than you’d believe, and is always eager to be by your side.”

Feeling comfortable, he nestled beside Clare, wrapping a gentle paw around her arm. His soothing purrs filled the room as he ignored everything else, completely basking in the love of his human.

“He couldn’t care less about toys as long as he has someone to snuggle with.”

“His favorite pastime is curling up in my arms while I work (as if he’s the most adorable little coworker).”

When Clare sets up for work, Milo springs on her lap, ready to assist. He cozies up to her, kneading with his paws and offering purrs and snuggles throughout her day.

Milo is determined never to be behind another closed door, always wanting to be in someone’s company. He rests on Clare’s arm as she uses the computer mouse, or places a paw on her hand, as if lending his help.

“Milo is an incredibly social, affectionate kitty who just wants to be loved.”

Despite previous concerns about litter box issues, Milo has shown that he just needed a little love. “He hasn’t had a single problem with his litter box since joining us.”

Milo has become an adorable weighted blanket to his people, bringing comfort each night.

He greets his foster mom with the warmest snuggles and loudest purrs, starting the day on a joyful note. “He loves hugs, pets, and being together. We’re going to find Milo a forever home where he will get unlimited love,” Saving Stevie shared.

The chonky cat is flourishing in foster care with a kind human to cuddle with on demand.

Despite all he’s endured, Milo remains the happiest cat as long as he has someone to snuggle with and shower him with the love he deserves.
