Agent speaks out, Neymar’s future is about to be decided

‘Super agent’ Pini Zahavi, Neymar’s representative, confirmed that there have been no negotiations for the 32-year-old Brazilian star to leave Al Hilal Club. Meanwhile, journalist Cesar Luis Merlo revealed that he has reached an agreement to return to Santos Club.

“There are no ongoing negotiations for Neymar to leave Al Hilal. He still has a contract and is very happy there. Neymar’s father and I are the only ones who can talk about Neymar’s future. I don’t know where the recent rumors come from,” said Pini Zahavi in an interview with transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano.

At the same time, according to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo: “Neymar has in fact reached an agreement to return to his childhood club, Santos! Negotiations are underway to terminate his contract with Al Hilal. It is expected that everything will be completed when the winter transfer window opens”.

According to AS (Spain): “The fact that Neymar is receiving such a high income at Al Hilal (a total of more than 150 million euros including salary and other commercial contracts) makes it difficult to reach an early agreement to part ways. The player still has a contract until June 2025. Therefore, if Al Hilal wants to terminate the contract early, they may have to make financial concessions.”

This may be the reason why Neymar’s agent, Mr. Pini Zahavi, spoke out early about his client’s condition to maintain his position against the possibility that contract termination negotiations could occur from early 2025.

Al Hilal is no longer including Neymar in their match plan due to the impact of continuous injuries. Since the 2022 World Cup, Neymar has played about 20 matches, only 11 of which were complete matches, the rest he has suffered 5 injuries in the past 2 years.

In addition to the rumor of returning to Santos in early 2025, another equally potential destination for Neymar is joining David Beckham’s Inter Miami, where he will reunite with his close friend Messi. However, if he goes to the US, Neymar will have to take a significant pay cut to meet MLS (American professional soccer) regulations.
